Nicolas Tixier

Professor at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Grenoble (Université Grenoble Alpes), in Theories and Practices of Architectural and Urban Design, and taught for more than 10 years at the École Supérieure d'Art Annecy Alpes and at the Institute of Planning and Alpine Geography. Researcher at Cresson, he also develops project activity within the BazarUrbain collective (winner of the 2007 list of young urban planners). From 2003 to 2010, he was scientific mission manager at the Architectural, Urban and Landscape Research Office of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. He was president of the Cinémathèque de Grenoble in Grenoble from 2009 to 2022. From 2018 to 2024, he was director of Cresson and deputy director of the Ambiances, Architectures, Urbanités laboratory. In the CNRS delegation for the year 2024-2025.
